Unikoo looks back on 2022
What a year! With the festive dinners behind them and the Christmas trees (almost) stored in the attic, the Unikoo-ers look back on 2022, a year that will go down in history as a year of geopolitical friction and economic uncertainty.

Streamlined extension of expertise in Marketing & Communication
- Last year, the marketing team doubled from 6 to 12 bright minds, each with their own expertise. In doing so, in 2022, we strengthened our offerings in the areas of branding, offline marketing, growth marketing and video marketing.
- Of course, this went hand in hand with the development of a full-fledged marketing team in our Limburg branch. Now we can also support our customers in the best way locally!
- Of course, many new experts bring a lot of extra knowledge with them. That is why we are committed to professionalizing our internal operations and knowledge sharing. We developed a training framework (our “Marketing Flywheel”), created SOPs for standard marketing tasks, and through “Way of Working” sessions, we gave each other insight into how we approach certain things.
The Finance & Administration team is ready for anything
- The FINADMIN team grew into a diverse team with both young graduates and experienced profiles. This way, our experts not only continuously learn from each other, but we can provide an appropriate answer to every customer question. In 2023, we will also aim for a growing team with varied knowledge in various areas.
- In addition, the first finance topper is starting in our office in Limburg! Are we standing still? Absolutely not! Which region is next?
- We developed a new offer where we can set up reporting and dashboarding for growth companies in a very pragmatic but affordable way. In 2023, we want to further refine this offer in view of the needs of our customers.
A successful kick-off for Talent & Recruitment
- 2022 is the year that the HR service line really got off to a start. We are therefore eager to support even more clients in the field of talent management and recruitment this year.
- HR also clearly remains a hot topic among growth companies. Thanks to the start of the HR service line, we were able to welcome a number of new customers and, after three months, we can speak of a successful start-up. Both small and larger customers have already found their way to our services in personnel administration, recruitment and talent management.
- Our own talent management also did not stand still: in 2022, we rolled out a wellness program, renewed the fleet, reviewed our salary policy and treated the team to a weekend and a workation to Amsterdam!
Steadfastness in Technology & Development
- Technology & development has turned out to be an extremely strong, complementary team of top developers and architects. And that with a focus on processes with impactful customers, large and small, locally and internationally. Together, we make a difference.
- No challenge was too big: on behalf of our customers, we built a number of state-of-the-art web applications and mobile applications. In addition, we also helped our customers choose the right software and associated customized integrations.
- As a recognized Webflow partner, we also created many beautiful websites and landing pages tailored to the needs of our clients.
Graphic design tailored to the customer
- Last year, our design team worked for many socially relevant customers and growth companies, with a strong focus on User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI).
- We also sharpened our e-commerce expertise and focused on the graphical development of major web shops.
- Thanks to the complementary services of our designers, we were also able to further help our customers with their ad hoc needs.
A unique year for Unikoo
As you can see, our teams did not stand still. But how does that translate to the organization?
- In 2022, we launched several successful initiatives again, such as the expansion of the Limburg team, the launch of our HR service line and the integration of HiPPO agency as our branding agency.
- Companies know how to find and find us. We have built long-term collaborations with our customers who are largely located in our target group of innovative SMEs and growth companies. Witnesses include new customers such as Dripl, The Beacon, Unifly, Bolt, Asset Impact, Jeco and many others.
- In 2022, Unikoo grew into a robust organization with a growth of more than 50% in terms of turnover and headcount, in a sustainable way. And that's where Unikoo's strength lies: with our people. The way we have matured, the achievements of our teams, the quality they deliver and the heart they put into Unikoo and the work for our customers every day: that is the key to our success.
